Information the app processes

The app requests Shopify's read_products and write_products access scopes. These permissions allow it to scan supported catalog fields and apply changes that the merchant has reviewed and confirmed.

Catalog information processed for this purpose includes vendors, product types, tags, product options, and variant option values. The app does not request Shopify customer or order scopes and does not intentionally collect or store Shopify customer personal information.

Information the app stores

The app stores only the information needed to operate:

• Shopify app sessions required for merchant authentication.
• Limited catalog scan summaries, including timestamps and issue counts.
• Limited catalog fix summaries, including the category, selected value, replacement values, and outcome counts.

The app does not store complete raw catalog snapshots or product descriptions as part of scan history. Merchant and customer data is not sold.

How information is used

Information is used only to:

• Authenticate the merchant.
• Provide catalog scanning, preview, and cleanup functionality.
• Record limited scan and fix history for the merchant.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and secure the service.

Shopify and service providers

Shopify provides the commerce platform, authentication, product APIs, and app billing used by Catalog Cleaner. Shopify processes information under its own privacy terms. Infrastructure providers may process limited app information only as needed to host and operate the service.

Retention and deletion

App-specific shop data is retained while needed to provide the service and can be removed when required. Catalog Cleaner supports Shopify's mandatory privacy webhooks. A verified shop-redaction request deletes locally persisted Catalog Cleaner sessions, scan history, and fix history belonging to that shop.

Verified customer data requests and customer-redaction requests are acknowledged. Because the app does not intentionally store customer personal information, there is normally no customer record for the app to provide or delete.

Security

Meet Enzo uses reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information handled by the service. No method of storage or transmission can guarantee absolute security.
